Anyone else considering taking Shimelle's new Half and Half class? I'm all signed up.

Yep - me!
It looks like another great class. If nothing else, I'll use up a lot of my scrap bin papers. This format is one I don't use often (at least I don't think so!). Maybe I'll be forced to think outside my usual comfort zone.

Got the first intro email today.... a good nudge for me to get papers and photos picked out for doing this class. Yikes!! I'm soooooo not prepared for this one! But I have tons of paper and cardstock and photos.... so I should be able to get some things pulled together this weekend!!

I've printed photos for 3 layouts and have earmarked some for a couple more; I want to see what Shimelle does before I get too far. Debi I'm not sure if you noticed but she shared the photo sizes she'll be working with, if that matters to you. I pulled a few pieces out of my scrap bag and a couple of neglected paper files; would you believe I found some 6x12 papers from rouge de garance a dozen years ago when making pages that size was trendy for a minute? But I want to use some new papers, too.

I have so many half sheets of papers. I don’t think it’s take me any time to pull together page kits. I’m looking forward to getting started.

must.... get..... organized :)

Have to pull out a variety of photos to use with this class.... I don't want to work on a bunch chronologically because then they'll all be half&half layouts in a row. I'll figure it out... that's this weekend's project. Super thankful that my room is organized so I can easily pull paper and cardstock out. No more digging in assorted boxes and bags.

Kathy you're not late - class has barely started. While I'm sure my first page won't look anything like Shimelle's, I always come away from her videos having picked up an idea or tip I hadn't previously thought of.
I hope everyone who's signed up for class shares their pages here on the forum.

I wonder if she got swamped with last minute registrations?

Kathy - did you check the forum to see if the class is in your list? Sometimes you have access before you get the email.

Kathy and Jill, log into the forum and see if the class is there as Pam suggested. And then email Shimelle; she has said several times if there's an issue rather than wait, just reach out to her. She did post the first class yesterday; prior to that it was just info on how class works, etc. She said the second class would be in a few days. Hopefully you'll get in and be caught up in no time.

I did as suggested and I had access. I didn't get any scrapping done this weekend as I got the 2nd civic vaccine and am feeling poorly. Hoping tomorrow is better
