It's so interesting to see how the pages have evolved but the strips of paper with the chevron have been consistent on each layout.

I tried to stick with two of Elizabeth's design elements - the center paper strip and the banners, but my real inspiration came from the rock sticker in the lower right corner. My son recently took a hike on Whidbey Island and sent me a few photos, one of which was a pile of rocks exactly like that sticker and it just happened to be sitting on my desk staring at me when I got Elizabeth's page.

Oddly enough, if you look closely at the LOs many of them kept the circle in one form or another w/o seeing the original.

Not being familiar with Patsy Ann I looked up her story and found several photos of the actual dog. That was a great story of unwavering love and persistence. Dogs are amazing creatures.

Wow, how fast this challenge changed. Way to go ladies. I liked the paper Gwen used. Reminded me of CS Cyprus papers. We stayed at New York, New York in Las Vegas a few years ago, and there was a little park like setting with benches, etc, and these Lego sculptures! Can you imagine making these??? Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. As usual, my devices are not cooperating with me.

We always thought Chris would end up working for Lego as a designer/builder. A couple of years ago I finally cleaned out his old closet and gave my GG=Nephews literally a huge trunk full of them!

Pat - you used my favorite paper for your LO. Love it!
