Okay, maybe I do regret getting rid of mine.

Interesting technique. I might feel differently if I saw the results IRL, but it feels like a lot of extra work/supplies to get a result not unlike you can get just with DO inks and water splatters. I will admit I haven't tried inks on my gelli plate.
Re: Gell plate video
I felt the same way but it did inspire me to think about using one again. I would have gone straight to paper and splattered that.

Jennifer mcguire has several good videos on using gelling plates. She even uses stamps to pull ink off the plate. It is very nice.

Yes! Like Tim, she always makes me think I can do it and I have the time to invest and I need to shop.

Re: Gell plate video
I’ve been playing around with my gel plate and acrylic paints. Didn’t do all that well with inks but will try it again with them. Meanwhile I’ve gotten better results with the paint. It takes practice for sure and I find it relaxing and fun even if I don’t like my results.
I found Mansi on youtube and really enjoy listening and watching her work. This is a 30 minute video but once she gets started it’s great. https://youtu.be/pq13vojFUTs
