Cardz for Kidz

Post by pugmom »

My husband's employer is participating in the Cardz for Kidz program and, of course, he asked if I would like to contribute.

I made a total of 21 kid friendly cards. I wanted to do more, but there is a deadline and I'm running out of time.

I love the "off the edge" die cut cards and will be making more of those for my own stash.

Those are really cute, Sue! Are those "off the edge" dies the latest new thing?

Thanks, Marianne. It's not a new technique - only to me :D I just happened to stumble across them somewhere and found a Jennifer McGuire tutorial from 2018. You don't need any special dies, it's just how you place them and cut them. Very fun and very cute.

PS - The "Hey Hello Hi There" cards are a Silhouette Cameo cut file.

So cute, bright & fun!

Off the page is new to me, too, Sue. I may need to investigate those dies…not that I need any more, but you know.

Love these! I need to start back on cards for service personnel once this 6x6 class is over.

Sue, these are so much fun! If there were a prize for best card submissions, you'd win hands down! I've seen off the edge cards before, but usually just card fronts, not card silhouettes like you've done. I'll have to search for that JM video, great idea.
