I have about 6+ years of catching up to do. I am so thankful for the sketches you posted. It’s helping my lack of creativity.

Love your take on that last sketch Laurie! I struggle with what feels like weird whitespace for no reason, so I liked your layout better than the original sketch.

Sketch #5. Which will end up being a double layout. We ate so well while visiting the Biltmore.

I loved Laurie's take on sketch 4, and found a couple of photos that I thought would work. And then it dawned on me that this was a perfect sketch for a 6x6 pad. So I did it. It's very different from my usual sketch choices, but I like how it turned out.

Sketch #6 and another page to go with it.

Steve and I visit the winery while at the Biltmore. We tasted their wine and paired it with different chocolates. Let’s just say, I’m not a wine drinker.

I'm not a wine drinker either, but that would be fun, pairing them with chocolates. Such interesting experiences; glad you're scrapping and posting this trip.

Love it Laurie! I am 100% a wine drinker, and I would be all about that experience! But I can totally relate. Rob and I did a cognac tasting one time, because we thought it would be entertaining. And probably the only way in our lives we could taste a cognac that came out of a $500 bottle for just a few bucks. Neither one of us have come in contact with a glass of cognac since, but it was still a fun experience.

I love that you saved the menu and paired that with the sketch page. That came out really great.

Great job, Laurie!

Since the sketches seem to be a hit, I'll see about posting more inspiration this weekend.
