sketch inspiration to share

I was poking around the internet last night, pinning more sketches to my Pinterest boards, and found some really good sketches I thought you all might enjoy! And if you want more inspiration, I recommend checking out this blog: Rochelle Spears Scrapbooking

The first one I plan to use a 4x6 photo but create the background using stencils and stencil paste, and perhaps a second one with stencils and ink, or stamps and ink, or even tiny paper scraps. So many options!

The second one... but I plan to change the photo to a larger one and tweak elements as needed while staying true to the overall sketch.

And the third one I thought would be very versatile.

The rest I'm sharing are others that inspired me one way or another, and as soon as I'm done with the quilt top I'm working on I'll be going on a scrappy tear!

I’m scrapping today, so I’ll try them.
Thanks for the challenge!

This is just what I needed today! I have been on a scrapping tear lately too, but I needed some fresh inspiration. New sketches are always a good kick start for me. I had three photos laying out with a single piece of paw print paper for my next page, and one of the sketches in your third post was just right.

And the sketch with the snowflakes told me exactly what I needed to use it for - an April Snow.

There are a few more of those sketches I want to use too. Thanks Monica!

Here’s from the first sketch…or sort of. I don’t have very many stencils and have never really used stencils before. So I watched a couple of videos.

How fun to see so many sketches - and so many pages made from them!

Laurie - I think you nailed it with the stencil - nice job!

Here is one more for the day. It's inspired by the very last sketch. Nicole works for American Eagle (she started her senior year in HS, but stayed on staff even after she left for college). She loves modeling new stock for the store's Instagram page.

Julie, that is so cute. I love that paper. Was it from a collection?

That’s an older Webster’s Pages paper. Isn’t it pretty?

Great collection of sketches Monica, and already some terrific takes on them! I've got 2 photos on my desk but have felt like organizing and purging this week - and that doesn't happen often so I indulge the whim when it does.

Yep! Hollywood Vogue. I used to hoard my WP paper, but now I swear it multiplies!
