Something New-ish…

Post by BekiWard@msn.com »

I’ve been seeing planners that were more journal/scrapbooks, so I decided to take the plunge and give it a try. I’m really not sure exactly what I’m doing, but it’s fun! Hopefully, I’ll end up with a small recap of the year, when it’s done.

Does anyone else use this, or a similar, format?

For some reason, I couldn’t attach everything on the first message, so I’ll annoy everyone with multiple replies.

Oh how fun! I am currently using a 8.5 x 5.5 traveler's notebook to play in. So far, it's been rewarding.

I’d love to see some of it, Kathy. This is a whole new format for me.

Looks great so far Beki. I decided against another planner size/format although my LSS stocks them, but I have bought a couple of the planner dies to use in my regular scrapping.

How pretty! Kudos to you. I’ve tried small size pages and can’t wrap my head around them. Your pages are so very pretty.
I’d love to see Kathy’s as well.

The dies that I am quickly amassing are very versatile; I like that!

Thank you, Pam.

Like I needed something else while I'm trying to bulldoze out this room, right?

It started as a garden journal idea & seems to have a mind of it's own. I hope to keep the momentum and do a page or two each month to document the year...in reality, this may be all that gets done. sigh...

I love that idea. I’m not sure I would keep it up. I’ve tried to journal daily and have not been very successful in that. I would love to see more. Please continue to post.

I love what you've done so far and hope you continue to show us your progress.
This is a wonderful idea, but I would probably fizzle out two to three months down the road. However, you have planted the seed for me to do a garden journal this summer.

Thank you, ladies! I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep up, either. I hope that by not feeling I have to make something every day, I will be more successful in working in this through the year…time will tell. I will definitely share any future pages/inserts.

Jill, the dies & stamps are Els’ - Elizabeth Craft Designs. I’m quite impressed with how crisp the stamp images are, and love all the die details.

Sue, originally my intention was to simply make a garden journal, but as I started it took on a mind of it’s own! It should be interesting to see where this leads…
