Just realized I didn't date the layout so will do that. This photo was taken after the Uncle Bob's memorial service March 31, 2012. My cousin Ted (farthest right in the photo) died last week at the age of 50 from colon cancer.

Yes a 2013 photo…..I’m so behind! So thankful for all the challenges to keep me going. One day I will catch up.

No such thing as “behind”! Just enjoy the process - no matter how old the photos might be. This is a great page Laurie!

Says the woman posting a page with a 2007 photo..,

You go girls! Is this a competition called 'who has the oldest photo'?
Kathy, what a treasure that photo must be, albeit now bittersweet. I noticed your DAF flair; have been thinking about placing an order even though I probably have enough flair for two lifetimes.
Laurie, I like your use of pennants in place of tags. As Pam said there's no such thing as behind.
Pam, you strayed from the colour scheme  I wish I could make doilies work for me; like buttons, every time I try them they feel gratuitous and I end up removing them. I like the way you split your journaling on the labels.

;) Green is in the permanent point-earning column. I made sure I had some. Also I decided I don’t have energy to keep up with Calvinball this year but that won’t stop me from trying to use the prompts.

I think the key with doilies is to make them barely visible. Otherwise, I feel like you do about them. I don’t want them to look like they have a position of importance.

I haven’t figured out Calvinball yet. I joined, got the email but still haven’t found the point things or prompts. Probably will just stick it here and with Christy’s sketches

Laurie - I am not liking Calvinball. There is way too much going on and tracking the points is CRAZY!!!

Laurie, don’t feel bad. It’s pretty hectic.
Call me if you want me to walk you through it. Some of those women. Yeah. It’s hectic.

Thanks Pam, I’ll just stick with Christy’s 30 day challenge and challenges here.

I think it's more fun listening to people talk about Calvinball than it is to participate.
Pam, thanks for the tip about doilies. Next time I try one I'll keep that in mind.
