April Challenge

Post by kacarr61 »

I love doing challenges when my PAO pals are playing along. I am looking at this one for April. What are your plans?

I will be out of town for the first 10 days (grandson's 3rd birthday in NY) but will play catch up when I get home.

Kathy I'm intrigued by this, but as it's hosted in a private FB group can't read more about it without joining. Is there a brief description you can share with us, so we know what the premise of the challenge will be?

Day 1 was ribbon - I probably posted this already but I did add ribbon at the top just for the challenge. Not sure it added anything at all to the page but it’s ribbon.

I missed Day 2 (metals) somehow so I did this page this morning. Both pages were Scraplifted pages done by MK Gunn.

Now to do Days 3 & 4.

I don’t know why the computer added the one page twice.

This is for Day 3 (pink) and I’ll cross post in the VB thread.
How long has it been since you used the watercolor stamping technique? I know it’s been years for me! I used Distress Oxide inks watered down. I should have used a MISTI since most of the images aren’t as good as I hoped.

Making memories and taking photos to scrapbook. That’s the important part of scrapbooking! That’s what I tell myself. ;)

Yesterday’s prompt was twine (Judy!!!)

 Mia got a car.

She’s beyond excited. Driving school soon.
I may have let her drive my car around my house this winter…
Her papa is a lot calmer about all this than I am.

Prompt is hearts and I feel like I’ve cheated a bit but it’s done.
