So far as I know, it's only USPS Express mail that has been suspended. I have a friend in Christchurch and we've sent and received mail within the past year.

My cards are in the mail! Pat, the post office shows that your card was delivered, although I couldn't find it. I bet they mixed it in with one of my neighbors' mail again. Sigh. We have locked mailboxes and the postal person has a hard time reading the numbers on them... go figure.
