Christmas Gift Bags

Post by mpizzazz »

Don't all fall over and faint, I'm posting something! I'm surprised I remember how.
I've had these linen bags that sheets and pillowcases came in and this week turned them into gift bags. I covered their logos on the fronts and backs with the red and white fabric scraps sewn on. Then I added the paper and other embellishments, mostly from a Pink Fresh set of scrapping papers I bought while still in the US. Now, I'll have to do some shopping to fill them.

Hi Marianne. Good to see you.
I love what you've done with those bags.
I'd be pleased with just getting the bag as a gift.

They’re wonderful! I agree with Sue- the bag itself would be a lovely gift.

It’s so good to hear from you!

I bet you had fun making these, Marianne. I like the combination of fabric and paper.

I'm with Pam - the bag alone would have been a perfect gift!

Love these, Marianne! Others have said what I thought, that the bags themselves are almost gift enough. I hope the recipient/s find an ongoing use for them - or at least pay it forward.

Thanks, everyone, for the comments. It was fun to explore what embellishments I still have. The bags are just for Ray and Robin so they will stay "in house" to be reused each year.
