Adventures Day 3:

Just in case anyone else wants to try it - all purpose glue as in Aleene's Tacky Glue - does NOT adhere to acetate.

In the process of finding an easy way to cut the replacement window - EUREKA!!! It dawned on me!! ATG tape IS double sided tape. Somebody just slap the back of my head, please!

So, as soon as I fold this last load of laundry, make a run to the grocery store, and make sure Chris will listen out for George while I'm gone in case he falls again, I will cut a new window, adhere the acrylic, add the sequins to the card and hopefully have at last once and for all created a shaker card.

I'm still wondering why I quit drinking but glad I gave up smoking!

Terrific card Sue! Love the walrus; I'm sure your neighbour will, too.

Sue, your walrus is soooo cute!

Well, I finally did it. My one and only shaker card. Unless I decide to not let this dratted thing beat me, that is. At any rate - the biggest thing I learned was to make sure the sequins are not stuck to each other and rub the anti-static pillow over the acrylic before sealing. Other than that, if I do another one I'll use a die cut for the window instead of an odd size.

Best thing learned - the ATG tape works just fine for making these.
