Christmas 2023 June Challenge - Silver and Gold

June's challenge is to use your metallic supplies in gold, silver, rose gold, copper, bronze, and platinum. In looking through my supplies, I have metallic inks, embossing powders, papers, alcohol inks, glitters, hot foils, ribbons, metallic flakes, brads and eyelets, and that's just off the top of my head. So dig out the metallics and make a card, tag or embellishment. Samples to come!

I played a bit with the Glimmer hot foil machine to start with, to give me some bits and pieces to play with. Metallic foils do not photograph well.

And here's my first finished piece, using gold hot foiling, gold paper, and gold ribbon!

I made a card. I cannot take credit for the design - it's one I've had saved on my Pinterest board for a long time and was made by Alexandra Meier in November of 2019.

That’s a beautiful card, Sue. Pinterest is one of my go-tos for card inspiration. I can see why this caught your eye. Traditional but still a bit modern.

I see these little embellishments from time to time and think “I should make some” and haven’t - until today. There are a few holes in my Journal Your Christmas album - who am I kidding? I think I’ve only completed one since I started making them. These would be cute tucked in here and there.
