Crop & Create Holiday projects

Post by Monica »

Hello! I'm doing a two-day event hosted by Scrapbook & Cards, with layouts, cards, and projects for the holidays. I can't show off my shaker cards yet, as we got Gina K. stamps ahead of the next release, so I'll be waiting until her next release to show those.

The second class was Paige Taylor Evans doing layouts, but I need photos to assemble those, so when I find photos that aren't overwhelmed by the very bright Christmas colors and patterns I'll post them.

We also did a very lengthy class making a countdown calendar of boxes, which was a ton of folding to make the outer boxes and inner lids, but worth it to see it all done! I had an extra box so I did a little gift box with it. We used Doodlebug products for it, which just made it so cute!

That's cute but a lot of folding.

And a card from another class. The line is Ski Lodge by Violet Studio, and our kit included a 6x6 paper pad and an 8x8 decoupage pad. LOVED the decoupage pad!

Those are terrific projects, especially
the calendar boxes. Have you decided what you'll
put into them?

I'm thinking of sending it to my brother as his Christmas gift, which means a trip to Cabela's to find fishing stuff I can add, and possibly some money for a night out with his girlfriend. I'm also thinking of using at least one to write a letter to him telling him how much I love him and all the things that I treasure about my brother. We'll see if I can get it all done and sent next week!
