alcohol or distress ink, i think, embossed in clear, after stamped with harlequin stamp

Close! Its the TJ faux snakeskin technique. Distress inks applied with cut n dry foam, let dry. Apply Versamark direct to paper. Pour on clear EP, shake off excess, then drag a bone folder (or end of a paintbrush, etc) through the EP. I made a diamond pattern. Gently brush off the crumblies the dragging creates and then emboss with a heat tool as usual. Very easy and quite pretty! If you use browns, greens, tans you can create a snakeskin effect which would be great for cards for guys.
