PAO Doll---Finished Creations

Here's Dani! Didn't think I'd get her done in time to mail tomorrow since I'd wracked my puny brain for months and had ZERO mojo. Tonight I just sat at my desk and played and she just came together. She represents me in an abstract way. Her "background" is a textured gesso and acrylics technique which I stamped on and brushed over with iridescent perfect pearls. The word "elemental" is embossed in amethyst embossing powder on her chest - it's hard to see in the photo. Her wings are black feathers I picked up on clearance. She is holding silk ribbons - I LOVE silk ribbons. Her color scheme is red, black and purple, which I have been working with a lot lately.

Hope my recipient likes her! I'm finding it hard to give her up!

Nope - she's heading in a southerly direction.

Very stunning Dani! I hope it's coming here.

I would expect that the pic doesn't show it off as in IRL, cause I know that was true of mine as well. I took 20 pics and had no success in showing the texture or details well. Mine is heading to the midlands.

Holly . . . that house is simply darling! That was just so clever of you.

Pam . . . loves the glasses and the scrapbook is awesome!

Dani . . . she is simply stunning!

Putting the finishing touches on mine. Nothing like waiting to the last minute!

OK, I finished mine up last night by the skin of my teeth (I was suffering some of that same mojo problem that Dani was having), and then was just too exhausted to find new batteries for the camera to get a photo taken when she was done. She's with me today, ready to go to the post office. But I have no picture of her. Hopefully my recipient can get a photo taken and get her posted. I fear if I don't get her to the PO today, the entire week will get past me.

This little mechanical goddess  is headed to the northeast (or at least northeast of where I am! ) I hope she likes living somewhere very chilly this time of year!

She represents my constant struggle to get "outside of the box" and my addiction to all things "mechanical" (I have a degree in engineering - what can I say?!) Oh, and I love all things Halloween. :D

Are you sure these babes aren't all headed to California? I can't wait to see what arrives. These are all just amazing and so very different from one to the next. WOW!
