How about a Monthly Challenge ???

Post by mpizzazz »

Hello,
This is creepy being the first one to post here.

Is anyone interested in doing some interesting and, well, challenging monthly scrapping challenges? Perhaps things like a certain tool we would have to use or specific colors and types of embellishments. I'm sure we all have ideas that we could suggest on what needs to be used from our stashes or a technique or project we all need to try.

If we are all going to be too busy in December, maybe we could start with January.

Any thoughts on this idea?

Ok, that sounds good. I thought January might be everyone's answer. In the meantime when you see something in your stash that is covered with dust or elicits feelings of guilt for having bought it, make a note that it should be used. Same with techniques you want to try or something you want to make to use on a layout. We can make a list and pick two or three things to challenge everyone to do each month. Another group I am on, we have a tool, a technique and a few consumables suggested to use each month.
I'll be happy to organize this unless someone else has a burning desire to do it.

This sounds like fun too! January is good, that's when most of the swaps are ending. Cool!

A challenge in Jan would be perfect timing for me as well. My work hours should go back to normal then.
