Now that the deadline has been extended, I started to look around online to see what I could do with my limited supplies here at my Mom's house, no gell medium or even packing tape here!
I found this link to all things inkjet transfer. Thought others might want to have a look.

Marianne, do you have any clear caulking compound there? Use that instead of gel medium, let dry overnight, and use water and gentle rubbing to remove paper....I talked about that in my thread "transfer techniques for today" on Sat or Sun, I think.

Thanks, Ruth Ann, I'm sure any caulk I find here is at least 20 years old. Right now I am doing it the old fashioned way, layers of white glue over an image and then rub it off from the back. I'm also trying that Claudine Hellmuth technique she demo-ed on the Ranger youtube clip with the acrylic paint except I don't have any photocopies just black and white magazine line art. Not so good so far.
There's a whole lot of rubbing going on with not much result. :angry42: :angry42: :angry42:

It's been a really long day and now I am going to go clean my computer screen because of this comment alone. :tomato:

This is a page for Lisa's book...images are from a 1934 newspaper. As you can tell, had a problem getting all of the paper off the back...but in this particular case, I think I like it like this.

That's great Julie
I think sometimes the bits of paper actually add to the overall design
