Chicago Artist Alert!

Open Studios Artists at Make It University!™

Come join us in the Open Studios section of Make It University!™, April 17 - 19, 2009, in Rosemont, Illinois, at the International Quilt Festival/Chicago, where artists will be on hand for demonstrations and to answer your questions on all things related to mixed media.

Artists will be creating one-of-a-kind fabrics, stamping cloth and paper, assembling art journals, and stitching with mixed media right on the show floor. Featured artists include Debbi Crane, Jane Dávila, Kayla Fujimoto, Mary Hettmansperger, Judy Coates Perez, Kelli Perkins, Leilani Pierson, Deb Silva, Belinda Spiwak, Kristal Wick, and Pokey Bolton.

We’ve also booked some new and exciting workshops for the Make It University!™ classroom. The fee for each workshop is $10, and workshop participation will be determined by lottery on the day of the workshop. Get details and the full schedule of artists on our website.
