I didn't see a weekend challenge posted or a Tim tag challenge recently, so I thought I'd mention that Tim Holtz has a great new tag tutorial posted for Easter:
http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2 ... runge.html

Check it out! I made 3 tags tonight and will post tomorrow after my stickles are dry and I can pound eyelets without disturbing the family! ETA: Here they are. The one on the left I made with a Heidi Swap mask before I was convinced that I would try the plaid technique. The one in the middle was the one I made trying to recall the plaid technique from memory (I had already turned off my computer); the plaid didn't work, so I sprtized it all with water and kept adding ink till I liked the background. Then, I turned on the computer and made the third one!

Anyone else who makes a similar tag before midnight westcoast time on Sunday will go into a drawing for some cool prize.

Come and play!

Rinda

There are all really nice! That chick is so cute! But I especially love the way you repeated the Happy Easter stamp down the left side of the bunny tag. That is a great idea for using different size greetings for any occasion.

Rinda, I don't know if this will count toward the challenge because I had to make a lot of substitutions.
I don't own a brayer :-o so I distress inked the background with a blending tool and I didn't have the gungeboard bunny or stickles :-o :-o  so I cut my bunny out of a piece of felt from the Academy kit. (I REALLY need to go shopping :D )

So, Little Miss Muffet has me on the dark and twisty path this week.

My son LOVES Monty Python, so I used a quote from the movie for the tag on his chocolate bunny this year. Thanks for the challenge Rinda!

Nicely done, love the alterations Rinda, glad you didn't just copy, but really personalized it.
Sue- great job on the substitutions, well done!
Rachelle-- Love the quote and new take on the rabbit. Cool using a crown to make the collar.

All these chocolate bunnies are making me want Easter candy! Stop it already!

I'm glad this was posted, because I have forgotten to check on TH's site lately, and I had missed his tag. I made two tonight, but the one with the chick is still drying. Here is the big chocolate bunny...I am always fascinated by the bunny's eye, so I had to try to recreate that using dimensional pearls from Ranger.
