Enabling Smooch inks

Post by EDelValle »

Almost a year ago I saw an ad in one of the
mags about these inks by Clearsnap and I went
looking for them. They didn't even have them
on their website.
Well, I see that they are available online
finally, so I went searching for a good price.
I found them at Ritz/Wolfe Camera for about $3.19
each, the shipping is $6.95, so the 8 bottles
with shipping comes to $32 and change,
unless you pick up some other wished for goodie
at the same time.

They had it at Archivers and I almost bought a bottle. Maybe I'll check youtube to see if there are any tips for using it? Once I see someone using a new product like this, I feel like I have to have it. Otherwise, I can leave it on the shelf...

personally, I'm not sure I'd like this one (amazing, huh?)....I never could do a decent job of painting my fingernails or toenails, and somehow, I see my artwork looking like my smudged toes!

I have all of the colors and they are fun to work with! They are an opaque ink, and the fine tip applicator is great for applying in small spots. I'm playing with them on the Christmas cards I'm doing, and I'l try to post a picture or 2 in the near future for you all to see.

Hmmm, never heard of them. May have to be on the lookout for them or go to Archivers and see what they look like.

Cheryl, they're on the shelf of inks close to the cash registers (on the right side of the store).

OK ladies - who has made something with them, I'm dying to see what they look like. There are no Archivers here in New York, so I can't even go there to check them out.

Barbara-- check the LSS. My LSS has had them for a month or more now. They really do look like a bottle of fingernail polish, and they work nicely. The tag I sent Christy in August had them on the flower.

Do you really need MORE ink? If the answer is yes, then these are awesome!!!! IF the answer is no, then ignore me.

Didn't visit the LSS - but did visit YouTube. Looks interesting - but I have trouble putting nailpolish on my nails much less my scrapbook pages.
