I made a TH tag and my set of Pure and Simple ATCs using this technique today. They're still drying; I'll try to post them tomorrow. I only tried the last step of spritzing again with water on one of the ATCs, and I didn't like that effect, but I love the sparkly stamped images. Very nice. I got the distress stickles out, too, which is why the tag is still drying.

Wonder if this would work with Polished Pigments? Anyone have some they can try?

Woohoo! Glad to see people jumping in. I'm at a baseball tourney with DS this weekend, so only have limited computer access.
But DEFINITELY don't feel like you have to limit yourself to only TH stamps. And feel free to give some other pigment products a whirl and report on the results!

Here are my efforts...The tag was stamped in Spiced Marmalade for the sunburst, not pearlized. Then I used two blues for dipping the background, and that was thoroughly dried. Then I stamped the dots grid at the bottom in Antique linen, and added green perfect pearls over that. The grungeboard butterflies were outlined with a black sharpie, then filled in with distress stickles in yellow, orange, red, and walnut. Ribbons are from my stash.

For the ATC, I used Pure and Simple white for the paper, and dipped in a mix of the blue distress inks spritzed with water. Dried thoroughly, then Pure and Simple UM stamped in green distress ink and pearlized with green perfect pearls. Edged with green and frayed burlap. I think it's kind of plain, so I may add something to this.

wonderful tags ladies! me, I'm the ALSB queen...still cutting up those kits I've hoarded...have a mountain of ready made pages waiting for the summer pictures...I still don't think I've made much of a dent in my supply though!

Nice tags Nancy I just ordered some more colors of the distress inks. I really do NEED more I like the colors that you chose!
