Apothecary has landed (even in the rain)

Post by Judi in IL »

Just received my August kit (Apothecary). Wish I hadn't scrapped the few photos I had of my college chemistry days. This kit would have been perfect. Not sure what else I can use the prints for, but love the rich colors (although once again we have had these before several times. I guess that's what happens when you have been a member since 2003.)

The red is a real burgundy-closer to Journeys. The gold is about like Egyptian. The 2 grays are very nice and useful. And then there is white-again.

I'll need to see it in person before judging. I have the digi kit, and the paper only kit should come tomorrow. I think the colors will be somewhat new for me, because I wasn't a member back in the Collections days. There are a few prints that I'm not sure how to use, but then again, they could probably be cut in such a way to make a really interesting card.

I have to wait to see if before I decide if I like it. I miss the days of Wings with the embossed texture, Bugs with the foils and a kit for the Cause. It seems like a lot of digital is being put in the kits Just my opinion.

I am considering ordering this kit. I am currently not a member but may take them up on the 1 mo trial membership. How much is shipping for the sr kit these days?

Julie, I hadn't thought about it, but some interesting cards are a real possibility. Thanks for the idea.
