A few fall'ish' cards
A few fall'ish' cards
I think Fall is my favorite season for card making. Although spring is my favorite season, fall colors are my favorite. TFL

Re: A few fall'ish' cards
They are all great Julie--but I especially like that last one. How did you do that?
Re: A few fall'ish' cards
Holly, I did the Herringbone technique (strips of paper) on several piece of paper with scraps left from other projects. I cut up a few of them and made pieces for several cards. Because my herringbone was less than perfect...I sponged ink all over the herringbone. The top part was made by pulling the layers of a piece of CS apart and using the inside of it to stamp on...give the effect of handmade paper...then I sponged a little ink on it to grunge.Holly wrote:They are all great Julie--but I especially like that last one. Holly, maybe you were talking about the last one of the previous set? I pricked holes and used some of that eyelash fiber and a needle to thread it thru the holes. Then used my exacto knife to cut a few more of the fibers..making it look like really poor stitches

Of course not...I case you guys all the time!Holly wrote:That was the one I was referring to. Mind if I use that idea?

Beautiful! I especially like the henna one - the touch of blue really makes the whole thing pop!

Those are all gorgeous Julie!!! I love the fall colors as well. My favorite is your Celebrate herringbone one.

LOVE! them all. And thank you for the cool ideas for "fixing" a herringbone you're not happy with and pulling apart the paper. Never would have thought of that!
Re: A few fall'ish' cards
Fall is my favorite season.......colors and all. I love all those cards and as a fan of Herringbone I like seeing how others use it. Thanks for the "cover up " tip......may have to remember that.

Julie, they're all pretty, but as a long-time fan of Paisley, you know my favorite! I may just case that idea since you don't mind.
