I am thinking that I should just buy some US dollars and then I can just pop the cash in the mail. Especially now the USD is so good.

Sharon, sending cash isn't a good idea, but you can set up a "pay pal" account and it works great. I had that when I did a swap in another group last year with someone from Norway.

I have paypal. so I guess anyone that runs a swap perhaps could mention if they have paypal, then us outta towners (so to speak) can then pay direct that way.

I do have paypal, but usually for international swappers all I ask for is some sort of local epherema (maps, travel brochures,pages from phone books, restaurant menues-etc)in lieu of cash. That way I can add some neat items to my stash
