Victorian tussy mussy
Victorian tussy mussy
A few days ago I posted a Christmas ornament I made using vellum. I had a bit of a difficult time cutting the vellum on the Cricut. Tired and frustrated I decided to make a something else for my Christmas ornament swap. So surfing a few blogs I found a tutorial for a tussy mussy. Lord forbid that I should do something simple!! LOL. So although it is kind of big for an ornament it was too darn cute for me not to at least give it a try.
The idea came from Annabelle O'Brien. Check out her blog. She posted the tutorial for the tussy mussy.

Re: Victorian tussy mussy
This why I love you ladies . . . you are good for my soul. Glad you liked it. Here are two more. Good thing these things are rather easy to do because I have 11 more to make . . . before the end of this weekend. Mind you I am hosting a Christmas card making party on Saturday and attending a kid's birthday party on Sunday! I've cleared my calender for today. I'm going to be a tussy mussy making fool!!

Yoli-- you have inspired me. I have just returned from Michaels, where I bought 20 of the picks, and some fabulous beads for the bottom (on sale-- all of it ) and I will be making them for my local card club members.
Christy-- Golden was not even on sale at my Michaels-(did you notice, my Michaels, I should own that store for all the money of mine it gets).

Yoli they are wonderful! If you happen to have extras I'm sure we could find a home for them. Holly, maybe we could do a swap on these. Say one for one?

Beads would look awesome at the bottom. I tried looking for some at Michaels but could not find anything I liked. I could kick myself for passing up on some beautiful chandelier beads I saw at CKC.
I'm up for a swap! I'm already making 14 of them! One more wouldn't hurt.
