I love the tree in the car. way to put your own spin on them
Re: Rachelle's 2009 Tim Tags thru Day 8
I had to work yesterday so I'm playing catch up today. And I'm fighting a big bad cold. ARGH!
I used the CS collage stamp for my music on vellum and the Old South stencil for my lamppost. All of my keys seemed too heavy for the tag so I used a grungeboard one and painted it with pewter paint and distressed with black soot. The holly is punched from grunge too. Ivory Elegance again for the swirl.

Great job! That's the background stamp I'm going to use, too. I love the idea of a grungebord key instead of a real one . . . much less bulky.

great idea using the key from grunge board. Was wondering how to wing that one. Turned out fantastic

Love it! I love music themed stuff, and I'm really enjoying all the variants on this tag.

Oh man - I should have used my grungeboard key. Maybe I'll change mine out. The key I used is just a bit too lumpy. (I tend to use my tags on scrapbook pages)

Rachelle, great idea for the grungeboard key!! Love the lamp post too!
I have even gone so far as to ink the key with clear embossing ink and sprinkle it with metallic powder to make it look even more like metal!!

Re: Rachelle's 2009 Tim Tags thru Day 10 (2 to go!!)
I finished 9 and 10 yesterday and then my camera battery died so I had to wait to post.
Day 9--I used my favorite Santa pics of my boys. The focal one is from 1994 when Santa actually visited grandma's house on Christmas Eve. The wonder in my son's eyes as Santa talked with him is so precious. I left the pics in color 'cause I loved all the blue and red together. For my filmstrip I took IP's idea and cut squares out of real film.
Day 10--I actually had 4 alcohol pens that I hadn't tried yet, so I filled them with red pepper, butterscotch, bottle and denim. (I wish I had a brighter blue) It's an interesting technique though and I might play with it some more.

Oh my goodness Rachelle, so adorable. The cutting the squares out of the film, brilliant! And you are so right about the one of your son with Santa is just wonderful.
The inked foil tag is great! It came out so pretty!
