My office gifts finished
My office gifts finished
I finished my Christmas Gifts for the ladies in the
office project.
I made portfolios to hold the greeting cards that I've
been making out of CS large sheets using a video that
Trisha did for TV Weekly, some time back, for inspiration,
with a few tweeks.
I needed deeper pockets for my enclosures, a "Dates to Remember"
Calendar (I entered the coworkers B'days into the calender before
printing them) and 7 greeting cards. Each portfolio has a different
selection of cards enclosed. I didn't go crazy decorating the
folders. They were each made from a different printed paper,
so I just cut a oval using a Spellbinder die and stamped it
with the CS Greetings WM stamp, added a length of ribbon to
tie it closed and called it done. the finished size on the
portfolio is 10" high by about 8" wide
office project.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the kind words.
Trisha made a similiar portfolio in the TV Weekly video
called Monograms to Mail
http://www.clubscrapcommunity.com/compo ... link&id=92
To make it to fit the larger cards that I made,
I used the longer sides as the sides of the folder
folding up to make a 5" deep pocket
instead of the shorter sides and instead of a
triangle shape top piece inside, I just made mine a
rectangular one by scoring and gluing a 3/4"
edge under a 5" fold. I tried the triangles but they
didn't look right on this size.
