A little different for me..

Post by julierealtor »

But changing up is good right? Another project from the Jubilee scrap rap, box and a set of cards using paper from Avant Garde. I've had this paper from Hollanders for quite awhile and had an ahhh moment. The cards are simple and fun. TFL

Wow! Julie--I love them! I actually like them a whole lot more than the written word ones.

Wow!! Those are gorgeous!! I love Avant garde, and that kit paired so nicely with the beautiful patterned papers.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks girls...these were fun! As I said in a post elsewhere...2010 is the year to USE my stash, I've run out of room to store paper (can you believe that?). I've also just about run out of room to store any more rubber, so 2010 is the year to USE what I have.

Amen sister. I agree. Not that I won't buy anything new- I've got swirlydoos coming now. :D But I have GOT to make a better effort to use up what I have, and mixing and matching like you did opens up infinite possibilities for me. Between that and an effort to use embellishments more, I might actually be able to free up enough space to let my stuff breath a little.

Love those nice bright colors.......I need to find some good printed papers to go with my stash of CS papers.

Thanks

Beautiful cards! The embossing adds the perfect touch, too.
I've always used patterned papers with my CS kits. It's been about a year since my last CS kit and not only have I not regretted cancelling, I'm still using up the stash (and I thought I was doing a good job of using it up!). There are so many great designers out there. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I get to a scrapbook store.
