Happy Accident

Post by gwendols »

Don't you love happy accidents when crafting? I was playing with my new distress ink colors to make card backgrounds for the PSL. I smeared the inks on my non-stick sheet and then sprayed it with water. This is the first paper I rubbed into it. I love how the colors came out to form a cool land/sky kind of shading. This is the card I made with it.

Thanks guys!!!! I ordered the new stamp pads from the same place Ruth Ann did, Simon Says Stamp. It was the first time I ordered from there and they shipped really quickly.

Gorgeous Gwen! I have picked up a few of the new colors when I went to Archivers last week. Haven't had a chance to play with them yet.

Beautiful card! Boy - if I tried to get that effect, I could work all day and never get it.

:hijack: I'm SO glad I jumped on that sale for Tim's new products way back in January... :angry42: It only took 3 emails and a phone call to be told, "they're not in yet". When will I learn to be a bit more patient?
end of thread hijack.
