I picked the 10 of Spades - they are so lonely here those poor spades.

The theme is Vintage Women. I recently worked on an altered book page with this theme and found so many cool images in my stamps and in my clip art/ephemera stash that I thought it was a good one to go with. Use any medium you like and lets see some ladies in their finery!

I think I am really getting old. My Grandmother is now vintage!! lol Here is a picture of her when she was in high school.

Great card, Paula, and beautiful photo. I have the same feeling - in fact the photo I was thinking of is of my mother as a young woman in the early 40s! But I may find something older, perhaps of my Nan.

Here is my Vintage Woman, the queen of the Tupperware Party-quote from Anne Taintor.
Our family has a history with Tupperware so this will be something I can personalize with journaling on the back.
That's a Wordsworth sticker on the left and the woman is from the Women's magazine at U Sydney. or should I say womyn!

I got on a bit of a roll with the deck of art over the week end so I thought I'd continue. Since my main theme for the whole deck is my childhood I went with a picture taken at my 9th birthday party. We were all wearing sundresses and I'm sure it was a really frilly girly party!
