Tim's tags 2010
Re: Tim's tags 2010
I agree with Marianne about the paint dabbers. I have a couple but I don't find that they behave as he says-re: the resist. I think maybe mine have just separated or something. Just buy a small bottle of acrylic paint at your local craft store and a small foam brush. (I buy those by the handful when Michaels has them on sale).
These tags are all so super. The masks I had ordered came yesterday do I hope to get back to the tags this weekend. We are expecting terrible weather so spending a couple of days crafting in the basement sounds like a good plan-after we bake a couple of batches of cookies.

Here are my next tags. I am logging them for me as to what day, but I am not always following the complete steps, due to supply limitations .
Here are the first two

Here are the next two. I did two of the plastic embossing ones, with different folders. The second one also turned white, and I used the same plastic! I like the criss cross one the best. THL

Re: Tim's tags 2010
There's not much of Tim's on this one, but I did make my own foam stamp! I cut a strip from a thin mouse-mat (the mice have been having a lean time round here!) and snipped into it to make jagged points. I used it with embossing ink and clear powder down the left-hand side of the tag.

Re: Tim's tags 2010
Great job Kathryn. I love your tree. I'm cutting one out since I don't have the die. I actually printed out his tag and am cutting the tree from that onto grunge

Re: Tim's tags 2010
What is this stuff called Grunge? How is it different from thick card?
Kathryn.
Kathryn.
Re: Tim's tags 2010
It is a Tim holtz product and is flexible. As thick as some cardboard, but will bend.
Re: Tim's tags 2010
Grungeboard is thick like chipboard, but very flexible and it takes ink and paint and anything else without warping or tearing or delayering like some cardboards do. TH also has grungepaper which is like the grungeboard, but thinner, more like a canvas paper, except it has the grungeboard texture.
Awesome tag, btw. I love your tree and your cool border stamp. Thinking about cutting one too!

Re: Tim's tags 2010
I would certainly say so, you made a stamp out of something around the house. Clever idea for that border. I won't get to this one until tomorrow or Monday so haven't read through the directions yet. I will be checking out what everyone else is doing for that border.katymjo wrote: Does this count towards your Challenge, Marianne?

I really thought everyone else would have a lot of his new products. I'm surprised.
