I usually use anything I want on my art and in layouts.

I've never used that dratted Xyron thing - Design Runner - since I bought it. The ink has probably dried up. At any rate, it has some fairly decent designs in it and this could be one way that I can actually find a use for it.

I have 3 different size Xyron and I love them for alphas for scrap pages. Cheryl H got me hooked on them.

Cool! I have been to Walgreens twice since this was posted, but I was picking up scripts, and forgot that I wanted anything else, so I just went through the drive through. That looks like a lot of fun. I need to quit acquiring all of these specialized products and use what I've got (stamps) with stuff that's more economical (paper tape). The possibilities are ENDLESS!

Went to the grocery store this morning and got some paper tape. Now I just need to play with it. When you stamp are you putting it on alum foil or freezer paper or what?

I just used it on my craft mat.

freezer paper would probably work as well

Yes that is what I thought. I could use my craft mat too since it is right under my desk.

I used my craft mat too. Only did a sample piece and haven't made it into anything but ohhh the possibilites! Like Jen said, stamped to match project! I used the Palette Noir black ink and this am I rubbed it and no smearing so I think it and StazOn are good choices. Any ink that is permanant should do fine.

Sometimes I need a visual - I just couldn't figure out what the paper tape was supposed to do!

Duh - I even have some of it premade in rolls I got in a swap. I'll have to try that too - having tape in the pattern and color I want!! Good idea!!

Maybe when Cheryl gets her art piece she'll post a photo of it - I used some of the wide tape that I stamped on it.

OH - The Design Runner! I had forgotten about that. My brain automatically when to the Xyron adhesive. The Design Runner would be perfect for this!
