Sorry--need to edit my original post. NOT pellet GUN--PELLET BURNER (still don't know what that is)

But you need heat not just air. I think the air though could make some pretty cool results as well just doesn't give the burned (sort of) result

and here I made a mental note to borrow
the canned air from work to try this out,
without setting off smoke alarms, up to the
attic to get out the reinkers and the heat gun.
We'll see what happens, how smokey did it get?

really really smokey
I expected to see the paper burning there was so much smoke. In the end though there was only one teeny tiny brown, almost burnt spot.
