Uncle Ed

Post by mpizzazz »

Continuing on with a few more heritage layouts. These are two for Uncle Ed, the husband of Catherine, posted previously.
The childhood one is a sketch from http://thescrappiest.blogspot.com/2011/ ... h-hop.html I like what I've seen there and this one fit what I had nicely. In the pocket are a lot of Christmas/Birthday postcards to Edward. I got a lot of addresses where they lived off them. There are some gorgeous embossed cards. I'll add journaling to the large tag when I get some census info.

Thanks, I used to be really inspired by Jean Peters' heritage layouts on the old CSChat. She had so much on her families. I wonder what happened to her.

Marianne, these are stunning! I can see why you want to do this project; you have a lot more than just a few photos to showcase. What a lovely tribute to your family!

GREAT baby photo, I'm jealous.

The pages are terrific, beautifully
showcasing the memorabilia.

I'm sure I have those same papers waiting
for heritage pages to be done on them. :)

Wonderful. My faves are the war-era pages.

Do you need a census lookup, Marianne? One thing I don't do is let my Ancestry subscription lapse. Happy to do a few lookups for you. Heaven knows I haven't done any for myself lately.
