Is Chris the second one from the right? If so, dang he's tall!

Another gorgeous layout!

Yepper, that's my baby! He's one of only a handful of people I know that I can wear heels around and still feel petite.

Pam, they are all terrific pages but my
favorite page was Adam's.

One of the magazine's gives the same products
to 3 or 4 designers each issue and it's amazing
how different each reult is. Right now I think it's
Scrapbooks Etc. that does it.

I love how that poinsettia jumps off the page, Pam. And Maddie at Halloween -- oh, my is she growing up!

I like playing with brushes - this is sort of like using stamps to create my own background, just not as messy or fun.

So, Pam, did you make the All That Jazz designs into brushes to do that background? Did you add the splotches of color in the background, too, or were they on the background paper?

The background was a plain off white paper with some pastel mottling. I added an overlay (the instruments) and applied a pastel gradient layer, and then converted the All That Jazz stamp with the 3 round whatevers into a brush, changed the hue to blue, and brushed them onto another clear layer in varying sizes. The ribbons were too aquaish (new word!) so they were tinted to blue. The oval tag was actually a transparent png file, so I added a layer of the off white background to make it opaque. Adding the gradient layer is sort of like adding Distress Ink to a non-embossed image, just not as much fun!

Thanks, I understand all that, but one more question. Were the instruments you added the stamps that come with the digi kit?

The instruments were on an overlay that was in the kit - there are 3 of them with ATJ. The round blue thingies are also in the kit. All of the digi kits come with all BBF and wooden stamps, which is really cool. The biggest advantage of the digi stamps over the actual rubber is that you can resize them instead of just having the one size.

This is not what I intended to do. Funny how that happens with my LOs.
