From watching the video, she didn't leave it on there more than 30 seconds. Darn I want to go home and play. :(

I used the Golden gel medium (matte) which worked better than the Liquitex. I had no problem following her video. I think the surface you're using will make a big difference. The canvas or canvas paper works well. I tried it on the watercolor paper and it didn't work too well. Here's my interpretation of one of her ideas.

Very pretty, Carol!

This years AJ swap is going to be awesome. Everybody is experimenting with so many new ideas. I have learned alot from the Donna Downey videos in the last couple of months.

Very nice Carol!
Okay - I'm going to go buy some Golden gel medium. I wonder if I have a coupon?

HOLEY MOLEY!
The Golden brand is amazingly different. It works beautifully! Don't bother buying any other brand.
I am SO excited!

This is one I sent for publication - crossing my fingers!

Very nice, Pam! I'm glad you had such success. I can't remember if I had Golden back in the day when I did a lot of transfers or not. I'll have to try the Aussie brand I got when I was there last year. That stuff dries like cement though. Oh, I want to go home and do transfers!

Claudine Hellmuth's matte medium works well on watercolor paper. You just have to work quickly. The directions say to let it dry, but I didn't. Put it on, burnished and pulled off. Wish I could say the rest of the page came out as well as the transfer. :(

Post it! I want to see!

I almost waited too long with mine. As it was, I had to roll off quite a bit of the backing with my fingers.

If you laugh, I'll hurt you.

As Donna Downey says - "It is what it is."
