Elizabeth's Challenge

Elizabeth Taylor passed away this morning - she was a beautiful woman, a talented actress and had a heart as big as her legend. I hate seeing the passing of true Hollywood royalty - the flash-in-the-pans that are in movies now just can't rival them.

I'd like to challenge you to create an ATC representing Liz - it could be something that reflects the woman or one of her roles. Oil derricks for Giant, Egyptian theme for Cleopatra, a horse for Nat'l Velvet are just a few ideas that come to mind.

No time frame - just as the spirit moves.

I was sad to hear of her passing too. Gotta think about what to do, but I will do one

I couldn't agree more Pam, one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood..ever. She was always be an icon and ended up to be a philanthropist to boot. I'm not so good with ATC's, but will try and give it a go.

BTW, her role as Virginia Woolfe...an amazingly close portrait of my real mother...kind of haunting for me.

Virginia Wolfe is the one role that I always wanted to play, but no theater groups nearby ever produced it.

Just thought of another one - Night of the Iguana.

It's a sad day, for sure. I doubt I'll do an ATC, but if so, it would definitely be related to National Velvet.

I was saddened to hear of her passing too...

The challenge ATC, just in thought process right now, but instantly thought of something with 8 wedding rings. Not being nasty, disrespectful or whatever, but that is what I thought for an aTc.. It's 11.15PM here, I guess I need to sleep on this...

First thing I associate with Elizabeth Taylor is Richard Burton.
