Wanted to share this wonderful paper doll idea I saw on scrapbook.com. This is not one of my creations but I've provided a link to her site below. I'm also attaching a few pictures of the altered dresses she made for Barbie. I'm not a Barbie fan but I appreciate the creativity, time and devotion she put into making the dresses for the doll. According to the artist the paper skirt, on the 2nd doll pictured below, has over 120 separate folded ruffles!!

Enjoy!

I think that if I could focus all my energy into one art form, I might do something spectacular like that. I just can't focus!

WOW! Very cool! Thanks for sharing Yoli. I too tried my had at the doll size paper dress when DCWV pics started showing up after CHA Winter. Their full size paper dresses Rocked!

here is mine made with Vogue papers. It was very tedious work for sure. ;)

I may try the first paper doll one of these days but that 2nd dress I'll have to admire from afar. :-)

Julie . . . I remember the life size paper dresses from the last CHA. They were very cool indeed. Your doll is adorable! Did you glue the dress directly on the doll?

Wow! the detail is spectacular. Julie, love your vogue doll. I have done a couple of those crocheted dresses (Annie's Attic, I think) I'll have to share in the fall when I get home since I don't have pics.
