Yoli, try the above as a link. She shows pretty much the same thing that I did. I Have used material, seam binding, lace, muslin and ribbon. Anything goes!!
The more you play with it, the more you develop your own technique. I do mind clockwise too, where the video shows counter clock wise.

Don't know if this counts as it was a pre-made Prima spray. It was sort of burgundy/purplish before. I wanted the flowers more pink, so they've been Smooched, misted, painted, painted some more, Stickled and glittered. If they don't count, I've been painting the others. LO to follow as soon as everything dries.

Next time I want to alter fabric flowers, I'm starting with the paint first. It was the only thing that gave me the results I wanted.

The color is not all that great, but I think you get the idea. Things actually do coordinate a little bit better than the photo indicates.
