Our Biggest Fish Yet!

Post by azemigh »

We decided to go fishing this morning and afternoon, as we had a break in the pouring rain we've had the last few days and we got the word that our river (the Siuslaw) will be the next to close it's Coho Salmon season as we've almost reached the quota. It was a beautiful day on the river, although a chilly breeze kicked up once in awhile and we spent 5 hours with only 2 hook ups and they were both under 15 inches so we had to let them go. Decided to make one last run across the widest part of the river near the port and Whamo! we finally got a big one! 10 lbs, 28 inches. Whoo hoo!
