How about the price? 15.69 for one pound. How far does one pound go?

Re: a wax collage tutorial
I don't see why that wouldn't be fine...and I think the price is fair...I use melt art (ranger) beeswax and it comes in 3.5oz jars, so not really up on what a pound would cost, but i'm thinking a pound of ranger's would be waaaay more than what is quoted here....the only thing i'm not sure about in this ad is that it states specifically for encaustic wax art and i don't do that and don't know if there is a difference in the wax. My wax dries hard...(yes, if you take your fingernail or a sharp object , it can be chipped or scraped away) and dry. There are two colors of wax...white and natural..i use natural. Natural beeswax will give a more vintagy (yellowed) look to things while white wax will keep colors true. I melt one 3.5 oz jar at a time and use it over and over...if you are doing smallish things a pound will last forever..or at least, a very long time.

I got a pound package at michaels with a coupon. Found it in the candle section.
