December crop challenge #7
Re: December crop challenge #7
My first tag...a bit smaller tag as well.
The leaves were die cut with a Cuttlebug using CS Natural Resources brown paper inked with spruce(?)distress ink.
The branches were made with grunge board swirls, cut apart and inked.

Marianne, lovely tag and I enjoyed reading about the evolving project.
Pat, that is a beautiful tag! The swirls look wonderful done up as branches.

That's funny, I used that brown NR paper on my tag as well...after I crunched it up and inked it!mpizzazz wrote:the look reminded me of the Natural Resources paper so I used the brown version to punch the little leaves after I abandoned the holly on this. They will appear on the next tag I post.
Thanks Monica!

I really like how your brown swirl/branches turned out, Pat!
Here is my extra tag using the holly leaves from glassine. I actually used some old tan printed vellum from a CS kit. Worked just fine. the background is another practice at the Day 2 one on the resist kraft paper. This time I remembered to emboss the stamped images I did on it. Real vintage tinsel from Keitha (thank you!).
