Thanks, Monica! That linky thing he is doing this year is great to see what others are doing. I was amazed at all the posts from Russian blogs.

Me too! I guess it's proof that his appeal is world-wide, hmm? I haven't looked at Hetty's blog... wonder if she's doing the tags?

I looked at Tim's tags this morning-pretty cool. I find that I don't use the tags I make, so i am trying to come up with some ideas of other ways to use these ideas. Anybody else have the same problems? Any ideas? TIA!

Make card fronts, make embellishments for layouts, use them as a jumping off point for an AJ page or a canvas, make an ornament inspired by the tag.... the sky is the limit here, so just let your creativity flow! :creating: Marianne is doing 12 tags for the 12 Days of Christmas song, which will be lovely to see each day. Here's a day 1 post making 6x6 pages rather than tags: http://itscraftingtime.blogspot.com/201 ... day-1.html

Day 2:

http://tatjanaswelt.blogspot.com/2011/1 ... holtz.html Cute moose family! I love that one is a butt shot. ;) (My family has a long-running joke about seeing deer butts... white-tail deer... flash as you're driving around the Colville area. warped but true  )
http://scrapmetjacomijn.blogspot.com/20 ... -2011.html This one almost has the feel of springtime rather than Christmas.... love it!
http://lovelightandpeacebonnie.blogspot ... -tags.html I love how this gal made her tag to fit what she likes.
http://toivotontapuuhastelua.blogspot.c ... mas-2.html this one uses an ornament in place of the reindeer.... nice look
http://amywiethrebrien.blogspot.com/201 ... mas-2.html clearly inspired by, but not anything like, Tim's tag
http://sue-thislife.blogspot.com/2011/1 ... day-2.html Love this one! Uses the umbrella man die... very creative!
http://neelzexpressionz.blogspot.com/20 ... day-2.html My favorite so far! This one is created by a gentleman from Britian.... I love the spots on the deer!! I may have to CASE that idea....

I just discovered you posted a bunch more links. You're right, the guy in Britian's tag is gorgeous. The rest of his stuff is not too shabby either!

Judi,

My thought was to make them annual Christmas gift tags. You know, write the TO/FROM on the back and use them every year. That way, you reuse them and everyone gets to admire your creativity repeatedly!

Just a thought,

I'm going to be really interested to see which ones you pick for Tag 6, Monica. Tim's was so ugly that everyone else has really risen to the occasion. There are some that have really knocked my socks off.

Tim's tag this morning scared me! And the paint thing.. why? If I actually figure out how to do something similiar w/o buying flashing or Ranger's metal sheets I will use AI instead.... a much better choice IMO. I haven't been brave enough to look at the post since my first glimpse this morning. (I need a smily hiding its head!)
