Sorry I didn't sign up this time. I contemplated it, but February and March are shaping up to be busy months, with commitments at work and outside of work that will suck up a lot of my free time. But I look very forward to seeing everyone's creations. They get better and better each year!

Oh boy! I can hardly wait to meet Ada Mae! Been mulling over my own doll and have a bit of an idea. Glad I have another month though. You rock, Sue getting done so quick.

Rachelle, Ada Mae and I said our goodbyes today and I dropped her off at the post office this afternoon. I hope she has a safe trip.

She donned her best overalls, her fanciest hat, packed her suitcase, grabbed her old two stringed guitar, her journal and her rose-colored glasses and is catching the next train to the big city in pursuit of stardom." Sue also said that her overalls are from a leather cornhusker, her head is an egg separator and a little spoon and fork for her arms; everything else from her stash.

My goodness she got there fast. OK, Rachelle, how did you get her to stand up? I did put a wire through her hat so she can hang, but I wracked my brain trying to figure out a sturdy stand for her.

I had no idea where I was going when I started making her, but in the end, my guys and I decided that she was a cross between Minnie Pearl and Cousin It

She's just propped up from behind for the pic. I haven't decided where she's going yet, but I have an idea about a stand, so I'll let you know when I get it worked out.
