I bet he was happy to get off his feet and relax! His patients will miss him for sure!
I just found out my doctor is retiring in November, she's one year younger than I. She started her practice at her Dad's office the same time I started working for them. 53 is kinda young, but I think she's frustrated with medicine - really insurance companies. My husband and I are pretty bummed, as we've really established a great relationship with Dr. Julie. She says the replacement she found is great. Fingers crossed.

Nancy I hope you all like your new dr. I hate having to change dr's. The older I get the harder it is. The one I have now is great and she is in a big practice and quite a bit younger than me.

Not really a slide this week, but I took the old family bibile pages and used them to post about how the internet has been so helpful to geneology research!

Great page. My mom is currently the keeper of the family bible. I'm not sure how far back it goes, but it is held together with rubberbands.

I always look forward to every "new installation" of the Lochridge Chronicles!!
Re: The Lochridge Slides
That's so cool, Rachelle, I never would have thought of it. But go back and reread your journalling.

This week, for farmer's market week, I chose another layout based on my grandpa and his wonderful veggie garden. He owned the lot next to his house and put in a full garden every year, including 5 full rows of corn. Yum!

Another winner Rachelle. I remember when my paternal grandfather lived with us and planted a huge garden in the back of our yard. Your slides bring back lots of great memories for the rest of us also. I just don't have the photos to go with them
