The Lochridge Slides
Re: The Lochridge Slides
Adorable page
Re: The Lochridge Slides
The theme this week was a perfect day. Once again, tough to do with my slides since I don't remember alot of details. I do remember grandma's house all dolled up for Christmas though and it reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting. Just looks like the perfect holiday scene. And you can see her black cat on the front walkway if you look real close.

Thank you for sharing these precious memories with us. The pages you're creating are beautiful.

I can see the tree through the window, too. I like the way she did the unexpected with the wreath. Maybe you should post this photo as one of those "find the cat" puzzles.

Lovely, Rachelle!
Re: The Lochridge Slides
It looks like I forgot to post last week's chronicle and Lochridge slide so I have both that one and this week's here for you.
The first one has a theme of procrastination. I thought this one was going to be very difficult with the slides and then I came across this pic of grandma giving me a haircut. I obviously was not thrilled and I noticed she gave me a pair of pretty hefty scissors and a magazine to cut up while she went at me. I wonder if this is when my love of paper crafts started?
This week's theme was "in the neighborhood" and I knew right away I was going to scrap the 2 Chevy Impalas parked on the street full of snow in front of grandma's house. My dad is in the far one, I'm sure trying to get it started in the cold weather and I found an old ad that showed one floating on air.

Re: The Lochridge Slides
I love these especially the haircut photo but that levitating Chevy is really cool. I often wished for a levitating/flying car.
Re: The Lochridge Slides
I have a couple more WC's to share. Also, remembered to bring my slide scanner so I can get some more pics into the computer.
The first one is for the April Fools theme. I just found this slide of me in grandpa's garden with their ping pong blaster (which was my absolute favorite toy for a time) really funny and silly. And who could resist a Clint Eastwood quote to go along with it?
The second is this weeks theme of Reading. Hoping I come across a slide of grandpa or grandma reading to me, but in the interim this one struck me as a good one for the theme. This is my grandma reading under a big tree on a camping trip. The only time I ever saw her relax was on a camping trip. She was always doing something around the house when she was home and I remember grandpa doing pretty much everything on a camping trip.

Re: The Lochridge Slides
Your slides are so cool! I love what you are doing with them!
Re: The Lochridge Slides
I'm a little behind posting my slides over here.
Last week's theme was for NSD so I did a little documentation of my slide project
and this week we're honoring our mothers and I just couldn't resist this sweet slide of me, just a week or 2 old and my mom. I really am grateful to have all these wonderful pictures from my childhood. They are very precious.
