March 2012 Card Sketch Challenge

I've been wanting to make a "wonky" card so I did and now I'm going to share it with you and hope some of you are feeling wonky, too. I saw this card shape in a magazine or book a long time ago AND I bought a template from Wordsworth which I never used. So for this one, I took a 9 1/4 x 4 inch card base from Club Scrap's Natural Resources and chopped it up a bit to make it WONKY. The panels were also free cut until I liked their wonkiness. I've tried to recreate the card as a sketch in Photoshop so this is the best I can do. Hope you get the idea. I will post my sample card immediately following. Thanks for playing along.

So here is my WONKY card sample. As mentioned, it started as a GTG card base from Club Scrap's Natural Resources kit. The front panels are from Evergreen and Castaway. The stencil used (to qualify for this week's challenge) is the Valentine 2011 stencil inked in copper on the Castaway lime cardstock. I created my Shamrock in Silhouette, colored it with Bic Mark-its and then Stickled with Lime Green stickles. The sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up St. Patrick's set. Love it! I bought the wonky labels set from Spellbinders last month and this will be the perfect project for them! (I probably have that same Wordsworth template aroudn seomwhere.... it looks really familiar..... )

I don't know about a "wonky" company, but I did this card for PSL and made it a bit "wonky" - I hope it qualifies

Here is my wonky card. The pieces on it were from a serendipity square about 6 x 6". So they were already made up of scraps at different angles.
