watercolor paper and Distress Markers

Post by Monica »

Here's my first attempt with the Distress markers and watercolor paper. I stamped the image with India ink, colored with Distress markers, then spritzed well with water and let it all blend together. I hit it with a heat gun to dry the paper, the n made this card. I love the look!!

Nope, that would be a MS border punch set. And since I always seem to go for the odd shapes rather than squares, circles and ovals, I had to handcut the Iris oval. The stamp is from Heartfelt Creations (http://www.heartfeltcreations.us), and they have a custom Spellbinders die that will cut out the iris so you can 3D it.

Thanks for the compliments, ladies! It was really quick and easy to do. I have a couple more stamps sitting out waiting for me to play with tonight. I may actually use up this watercolor pad at some point!
