Excellent Marianne & Monica!
Great idea to try the techniques with different brands of ink.

Thanks, I have a limited quantity of any manufacturer's inkpads so I have to use others to try some of the techniques. Like today.

I'm fortunate to have taken classes with Tim in person, so I knew this! Ahhh, the days before he was quite so popular. He would come to a local stamp store (sadly closed) and ofcourse was on the three Arts de Mer cruises I was lucky enough to attend. at the store we all had our little craft irons - even back then he brought EVERYTHING you would need for class!

Nice to start with familiar techniques. I like how my 3rd tag almost seems like a reverse of the first; didn't even realize but I used lighter versions of basically the same colours and that's what happened.

Lovely, Nancy!! The right-hand one is very vibrant... I need to do that one again with brighter colors!

Finally got to play with Day 2, here they are :) I really think they came out muddy, but that's because I need more inks! I need brighter colors! Off to Micheal's this weekend ;)

The flower didn't come out too well in the pic, think my flash makes it look like it's not there, but it is ;)

Very nice! I like the muted colors, although on my monitor that first tag looks pretty bright-toned! ;)

I don't think they look muddy. Of course, it depends on the tilt of the laptop cover if I can see the flowers or not. They look great when it's tilted back.

Very nice! I like the soft colors on these.

I keep looking at the Dylusions colors and I know I need a few of them. I'm saying I don't need them all but...
So I completely understand when people say they feel they need "more"!
